Our first Studio Day in 2012:

4 of us met for our first Hut time meeting yesterday (1.Apr.12)

a glorious day in the sunshine, we talked about our latest creative work/play showing each other examples and then got on with our individual projects with chatting and discussions about progress as we went.

Sarah was preparing for her next exhibition in Dorset Arts Weeks, wendy finishing her Dragon stonecarving, Tony started an oil painting and I continued to design knitted wigs – yes knitted wigs! Who knows where that will lead but having seen one on Ravelry.com, I just had to have a go.

It was great, we agreed to meet again in a few weeks time, get in touch if you would like to join us.

Five of us gathered together for our second Studio Day, a creative time of playing with Portland stone and the wool from Portland sheep, knitting, chatting, stone carving, painting and Wendy was deep in doodle!

Come along and join us!

Blogs “Puffin Play” and “More Hockney Inspiration” give an idea of my day – a joy to be focusing on my own work. Thanks for the input folks!
