polyamory

Did anyone listen to yesterday’s edition of Woman’s Hour, in which there was an item on Polyamory: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01g5yxx#p00r5htv

I am, in theory, supportive of Polyamory and loved the aspects of it described in the 70s book ‘Woman on the Edge of Time’.

I contacted Woman’s Hour after this feature because it was disappointing to hear the Polyamorous guest put in a position of having to defend her choices. Monogamy would be hard to defend in the same way it seems to me and it would at least be useful to hear other alternatives discussed without prejudice.

Links to creativity? – being able to be truly ourselves and flower in any way we love or need to do without the weight of society’s so called norms being used to hold us back.

Love to hear what you think.

Today, Friday, my comments were read out on Woman’s Hour, strange to hear my words spoken by someone on the radio – they read it out word for word – sounded quite good actually!

Wow – I just got around to listening to this and I am shocked (despite your warning) as to the aggressive stance of the interviewing/presentation. Good for you for getting in contact – were there any responses to your response?

I didn’t hear any responses to my responses, but was really pleased they read out my comment on the interviewing style and the need for an even discussion.
